Our friend and longtime Fellowship member Gary McSpadden passed away on April 15th in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was 77.
Gary’s music career spanned nearly five decades. He performed as part of several vocal groups, including The Statesmen Quartet, Oak Ridge Boys, The Imperials, The Bill Gaither Trio, and the Gaither Vocal Band. He was an active force in Christian broadcasting for many years, hosting several variety and music shows, including a stint as host of The PTL Club.
In 2011, Gary and his wife Carol began pastoring Faith and Wisdom Church in Branson, Missouri. He served as Vice President of The Fellowship’s South-Central region for several years and was a much-loved and devoted member of our network.
Please join us in praying for Carol and the entire McSpadden family, as well as the congregation of Faith and Wisdom Church. Pastor Gary fought hard, finished the race, and was an unbelievable man of faith (2 Timothy 4:7). His legacy as a pastor and music minister has impacted many generations of Christians, and he will be missed by all.
