On Saturday, April 7th, my father C.R. Holder went to be with Jesus. He was 86 years old. My Dad was a faithful minister of the Gospel for nearly 70 years and a long-time and active part of The Fellowship Network. He pastored eleven churches, founded the congregation that I currently shepherd, and launched ministers and ministries around the world, including an orphanage in Haiti that is still active to this day.
I am living proof of the power of generational ministry. Rather than living lives of leisure, both of my parents were sold out to a lifestyle of generously giving themselves away – their time, their treasure, and their anointing. I am proud to say that he successfully passed on the baton of faith to his children and grandchildren and thousands of people in North Carolina and around the world are walking with Jesus as a result.
Please pray for my family and I during this time. We are mourning the loss of our dear family member, but are rejoicing that he has been promoted to his heavenly reward. Our loss is heaven’s gain.
In lieu of flowers, we are asking that memorials to Reverend Holder be given to Bethel Church in his name. All gifts will be directed to the orphanage he founded in Source Matalas, Haiti.
