Faith rules. Right now, in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, the spirit of fear wants to rule–but Jesus tells us that NOTHING can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus! (Romans 8:38-39) As followers of Jesus, we have His peace and presence to minister to our families, friends and communities. When the enemy comes in like a flood the Spirit of the Lord raises up a standard against Him. (Isaiah 59:19)
We grieve for those who are suffering and with those who have lost loved ones. We pray for dramatic healing around our nation and world. We are seeking God, and in repentance for the sins of our nation (2 Chronicles 7:14)–that HIS covering arms and protection will abound. Jesus says, “My peace I give unto you.” (John 14:27) As Spirit-empowered people, we believe in healing and in powerfully walking with Him. Jesus remains firmly and powerfully in control. He is RISEN!
Do indeed take necessary and important natural precautions: washing hands, using hand sanitizers with 60%+ alcohol content, remaining at home if ill (while calling for prayer), social distancing. The devil wants to hinder the gospel from being preached as services are being canceled, but God’s people are creatively utilizing available technologies like live streaming—and THE GOSPEL CONTINUES TO BE PREACHED! Above all, remember: FAITH RULES.
