Heaven Came to Earth in Durham, NC

“Heaven Came to Earth in Durham, NC”

That was the theme of our South East region’s annual conference. Two days of worship and fellowship, with times of in-depth ministry and refreshing.

I want to thank Vice President Randy Estelle and the entire South East Board for a fantastic conference. Everyone in attendance came away with a fresh sense of urgency for the ministry before us and inspired to pull on Heaven and see God’s culture invade our lives.

This year, we gathered at Bethel Christian Center in Durham, NC. Pastor Don and Carrol Westbrook and their staff blessed us with their beautiful facility and hospitality throughout the week.

On Tuesday evening, we heard a message by Pastor Jo Naughton of Harvest Church in London, UK. She brought a powerful word from Proverbs 4:23 “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” We will have the full session available on The Fellowship website and YouTube shortly – I encourage every leader who has struggled to believe God for a breakthrough to listen to this encouraging word.

On Wednesday morning, we heard from Randy Estelle about standing on the truth of the Word of God as we minister with compassion and love. Mark Evans also ministered to us with a very practical message for local church leaders. I encourage you to watch or listen to all these great teachings in the coming weeks!

Gatherings like what we experienced in Durham, NC demonstrate why our fellowship exists: to provide faithful ministers of the Gospel with unique resources, networking, and opportunities to both give and receive mentoring. I encourage you to take advantage of gatherings like this! Contact your regional leadership team and find out when the next conference or meetup is happening. And if there isn’t one in your area, why not consider starting one? As Paul said in Ephesians 4:16, “As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.”

Each and every one of us has a “unique work” that will help our brother or sister grow in their ministry. Let’s look for new opportunities to give from the anointing we have received, so that the whole body can be healthy, growing, and full of love.

In Christ,
President Steve Holder
